Eyjardalsá - Horse Riding

Anna and Árni live on the farm Eyjadalsá with their two girls, born in January 2018 and April 2020.
Anna grew up on the farm and spent her childhood years riding horses in the area. She later went to the Agricultural University of Iceland and then to the University at Hólar for Equine Studies. She has both worked training horses and as a guide for a horse rental.
Árni was introduced to horses and the farm life after meeting Anna and moved to the farm in 2016.

They started the horse rental in 2018 and offer two types of tours;

-River tour (90-120 minutes)

-Waterfall tour (3-4 hours)

Eyjardalsá is located Bárðardalur in the north part of iceland. It is conveniently located right in the middle between Akureyri, Húsavík and Lake Mývatn, and the farm is just 8km from the main road (Route 1).
