The Yule Lads Annual Bath

The Yule Lads will welcome guests in Dimmuborgir every day from December 1st - December 24th between 11:00am and 1:00pm. Entry fee is 1.500kr for 18 years and older.

Every year the Yule Lads also go in their annual bath in the Myvatn Nature Baths / Jarðböðin við Mývatn where guests can join them and have some fun. Some of the Yule Lads are not happy with this tradition, because they don't like the water. But other Yule Lads just love to take a bath and be clean. The bath takes place two weeks before Christmas. This year it will be on Saturday the 9th of December, at 4:00pm. Locals will also be selling homemade goods and crafts between 2:00pm and 6:00pm that could make the perfect Christmas present from Iceland!
