Vogafjós Guesthouse/Restaurant is located on the east coast of lake Mývatn, owned by a farming family. In the guesthouse we have 26 rooms with private bathrooms and breakfast is served in Vogafjós Restaurant about 3-5 minutes walk away from the guesthouse. The reception for the guesthouse is in Vogafjós Restaurant.
The cowshed on one side of the restaurant and panorama view overlooking the lake on the other side were we offer home made local food such as smoked lamb and arctic char, Geysir bread baked in the earth, our own Myvatn mozzarella and salad cheese, our home made Geysir bread icecream and the Angelica schnapps of the house.
In Vogafjós Restaurant is also a small designer and gourmet boutique focusing on Icelandic heritage and Icelandic art and handmade products.
